We manufacturer over 400 low and high fire glazes, underglazes and engobes for the ceramic arts, serving schools, colleges, art studios, hobbyists, and professional artists throughout Northern California and beyond.
- Low Fire (Cone 05) Gloss Glaze Colors - Almost 80 colors from the basic color wheel with vibrant reds, to speckled and color flecked. Opaque and transparent colors, all lead-free non-toxic and safe for use in schools.
- Low Fire (Cone 05) Satin/Matt Glaze Colors - 40 Satin and Matt colors with less of a glossy shine to the surface. Great for sculptures, and for those seeking a softness in surface texture with warm and vibrant tones. Available in a full spectrum of colors.
- Low Fire (Cone 05) Crackle Glaze Colors - Our line of Crackle glazes are designed for artistic use (not for food and drink). For best results, after firing apply ink to the surface and wash away to darken the crackle. Available in 8 beautiful transparent and opaque colors.
- Low Fire (Cone 05) Specialty Art Glaze Colors - With 20+ specialty lead-free art glazes, you can create spectacular surfaces and textures in your ware with our specialty lines. From lava-like Pingo glaze, to shimmering metallic aventurines, purple, blue and green breaking textural colors look great alone or layers with other colors. Our most exciting line of colors!
- Engobe (cone 06-6) Vitreous Colored Slips - 25+ colors of engobe give you the versatility of brush-on slips, great for sgraffito or as a base for painting on (majolica). Our vitreous slip formulas are matt at low fire, but become more glaze-like and glossy the higher they are fired. All the way to cone ten! (reduction not recommended).
- Underglaze (Cone 06-10) - Apply any of our almost 40 colors of underglaze to bisque or greenware for vibrant semi-opaque color. Then coat with any of our transparent clear brushing or dipping glazes for consistent reliable results. A favorite of many hobby and ceramic studios.
- Mid Fire Stoneware (Cone 5/6) Glaze Colors - With over 80 colors of glaze, you can choose from a wide variety of colors and surfaces. All but our two metallics colors are dishwasher, microwave, and oven-proof colors good for functional use. A favorite line by professional and hobbyist artists alike.
